Hi, I’m Geoffrey, co-founder of Mental Bytes and a trained peer, currently living in Iceland. Originally from the Netherlands, I know how tough life can get and how important it is to have someone who truly listens. I’ve been trained in the core principles of IPS (Intentional Peer support) and I’m currently working toward becoming a certified IPS Core Trainer, while also diving into courses in art therapy. My goal is to bring both my professional training and personal experiences into the work I do.

I’m fluent in Dutch and English, and I don’t see myself as a mentor or coach. Instead, I approach every conversation as someone who has faced my own struggles and is willing to share my journey, thoughts, and reflections. Whether something from my experience resonates with you or you just need a judgment-free space to talk, I’m here to meet you where you are.

When I’m not working, I’m usually diving into philosophy, artistic expression, video games, programming, music, poetry, or anything related to Middle Earth. I’m passionate about these things because they help me stay curious and connected to the world around me. If you ever want to chat about any of these—or just talk about whatever’s on your mind—I’m here for that too.
